Western Australia plays host to the first national salinity and engineering conference in November. The conference is aimed at bringing together scientists, engineers, managers, landowners and farmers to share the current understanding of the salinity problems of both land and water.
This conference will provide the unique opportunity to incorporate research and experiences in the evaluation, planning, design and implementation of salinity management with an engineering focus.
The program consists of keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, a trade exhibition, technical workshops and technical tour.
The conference will be held at the Burswood International Resort, Perth from the 9th-12th of November 2004. More information on the conference can be obtained by contacting John Ruprecht on (08) 9278 0461 or visit the conference web site.
